Reducing the 75 percent of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions coming from the transport sector in the Pacific Islands, will be the focus of the Pacific Islands Transport Forum and Expo hosted by the University of the South Pacific (USP) as part of their 50th anniversary from 8 – 10 November 2018.
The Pacific Transport Forum was announced at the Climate Action Pacific Partnership Conference to help transform national transport sectors in the Pacific. The Forum will bring Ministers, senior officials, private sector representatives and partners together to discuss the future of the marine and land transport sectors in Pacific Island countries.
