The Role
The Project Coordinator for the project has the key mandate coordinate the project deliverables in the Solomon Islands through partner Solomon Islands Climate Action Network (SICAN) and will be responsible for the leadership on the effective management of the project including organising, coordinating, and ensuring the effective implementation of the PACCCIL project and the smooth transition to ensure SICAN’s autonomy and sustainability to run and be able to manage its resources effectively. Working specifically on planning, implementing MEAL and communications deliverables.
You Will Have
- University degree in a subject related to climate change, international development, NGO management or equivalent qualification.
- Some knowledge in COPs (Conference of the Parties) and agreements on Climate Change including climate policies at the national, and regional level.
- Experience in climate change, including formal education, and professional work in influencing and community action.
- Experience working with government at the local, national, and international level.
