The Role

The Network Officer will work with the Solomon Islands PACCCIL team and the Oxfam in the Pacific team to enhance the networking and influencing capacity for collective impact on climate change issues across Solomon Islands and the Pacific. He/she will do this by working with CSO, NGO and INGO members, government, private sectors and other stakeholders. The key role of the networking officer is to support the SICAN coordinator in mapping, organizing and delivering SICAN work plans that aligns to the Project Outcomes and Outputs.

You Will Have

  • Strong facilitation skills and experience in encouraging participatory engagement of network members
  • Experience in the development of networking and influencing strategies
  • Experience networking with diverse stakeholders and preferably experience in collaborative programs/networks
  • Experience liaising with communities, governments and donors and public representation
