Civil Society Presentation on Vatu Mauri Consortium to Vanuatu’s National Advisory Board on Climate Change & Disaster Risk reduction (NAB),Monday 9th February 2015.

Vatu Mauri Consortium comprises of representatives of the major civil society groupings for Women, Youth, Chiefs and Faith Based Organisations. Namely Vanuatu National Council of Women, Vanuatu National Youth Council, National Council of Chiefs and the Vanuatu Christian Council. The consortium also has sector specific NGOs such as the Vanuatu Education Policy Advocacy Coalition, Women Against Crime and Corruption, Indigenous Peoples Association and Vanuatu Environment Advocacy Network

The Vatu Mauri Consortium has been established by members of the civil society to develop the mechanism to connect local grass roots and associations to access development funding and assistance via the consortium.

The presentation is scheduled for Monday 9th February 2015 from 2pm followed by afternoon tea and kava refreshment at the Cheif’s Nakamal.

The Vatu Mauri Consortium would be grateful for your presence and to be introduced to the committee members of the consortium and for future collaboration on project development and implementation.
