• Location of role: Flexible in the Region (Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu)
  • Contract Term: 3 Years (with possibility of extension)
  • Salary Grade : C2


The Role

The position will have the primary responsibility of;

  • Successfully starting up and implementing the PACCCIL phase 2 providing leadership, management of the project team and consultants.
  • Leading the capacity Strengthening of the project team to strengthen the capacity of the national and regional partner networks to effectively collaborate and influence climate action resulting in putting CSOs at the centre of Climate Policy Decisions and Practice.
  • Working closely with OiP’s Climate Justice Lead in strategically leading in the Climate Change Leadership Programme with Partners co-leading to the extent where they are able to take on the leading role preferably in the 4th and 5th year of project Implementation.

You Will Have

  • At least five years’ experience and expertise in managing complex, multi-country, multi-partner project in a developing country context, preferably with a significant focus on developing the institutional capacity of CSOs.
  • At least three years’ experience and expertise in developing/designing and implementing CSO capacity development programmes in a developing country context with a significant focus on developing the institutional capacity of CSOs, particularly in areas such as governance, transparency, accountability, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the direct management of DFAT funded grant project in a developing country context, preferably in the Pacific region
  • Possess business development capacity to build on current resource mobilization for the Project to ensure its flagship within Oxfam.
